THE TERRITORY

Nestled in the Val d’Orcia – a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2004, halfway between the medieval village of Montalcino and the Benedictine abbey of Sant’Antimo, the farm is surrounded by elegant hills dotted with manor houses, vineyards and olive trees. To further enhance the suggestion of the places, even an ancient legend: it is said that these territories were blessed by Charlemagne himself.

It is difficult to imagine, considering the incomparable beauty and fertility of these lands characterized by a perfect balance between nature and man’s work. It is from this remarkable historical, cultural and enological tradition that our terroir draws its origin and strength.
